          Who was that? Unheralded ballers who shined in Week 5

          We all know the NFL stars who generate SportsCenter highlights on a regular basis. Every week, however, some performances make us say, "Who was that?"

          It could be the undrafted rookie receiver who catches a long touchdown pass, the backup quarterback who piles up stats or a journeyman linebacker who seals a win with a big play.

          This is for them. Take a look at Week 5’s unheralded ballers, starting with a Saints rookie who helped Drew Brees set the NFL’s all-time passing record and a Detroit Lions pass-rusher who made Aaron Rodgers' life difficult.

          Tre’Quan Smith, WR, New Orleans Saints

          Two receiving TDs, including a 62-yard TD on the play that gave Brees the record

          Why it matters: Smith will be the answer to trivia questions for years. The rookie third-rounder was an unlikely option. He had just one catch in his first four games before making a big splash on Monday night with 111 yards on three receptions and the two scoring plays.

          Romeo Okwara, DE, Detroit Lions

          2 sacks, including a strip sack in 31-23 win over Packers

          Why it matters: He was a waiver claim right before the start of the season, and he's starting to get hot. The third-year pro had one sack coming into the year, but he has three in the past two weeks. His first quarter strip sack of Rodgers helped Detroit jump out to a 17-0 lead.

          Jakeem Grant, WR/returner, Miami Dolphins

          71-yard punt return for a touchdown in 27-17 loss to Bengals

          Why it matters: Teams need to stop kicking the ball to him. He has been the best returner in the NFL this season: He already has a kickoff return for a score, to go along with two receiving touchdowns. Even at 5-foot-7 and 169 pounds, he's one of the Dolphins' best playmakers.

          Graham Gano, K, Carolina Panthers

          63-yard field goal as time expired to beat Giants 33-31

          Why it matters: On a bad day for kickers, Gano had the golden foot, nailing a field goal that tied for the second longest in NFL history. Gano contributed 15 of the Panthers' 33 points. This was a thrilling contest, but Carolina secured a much-needed win because they had a top-tier kicker. Tip: Listen to the Spanish broadcast of Gano's winner.

          David Moore, WR, Seattle Seahawks

          Three catches, 38 yards, 2 TDs

          Why it matters: The 2017 seventh-round pick entered Sunday with two career receptions. But he has developed in practice and has overtaken Brandon Marshall and Jaron Brown as the Seahawks' third receiver.
