The Indiana Pacers open training camp with a 19-man roster. Out of this group, 16 players have full salary protection for the 2016-17 season, while the other three were signed to partially guaranteed deals. Here is the breakdown:

Full Salary Protection: Lavoy Allen, Aaron Brooks, Rakeem Christmas, Monta Ellis, Jeremy Evans, Paul George, Al Jefferson, C.J. Miles, Georges Niang, Glenn Robinson III, Kevin Seraphin, Rodney Stuckey, Jeff Teague, Myles Turner, Joe Young, Thaddeus Young

Partial Salary Protection: Alex Poythress, Julyan Stone, Nick Zeisloft

No Salary Protection: None

Roster Outlook: The 15th roster spot will likely come down to a competition between incumbent Robinson and newcomer, via trade with Dallas, Evans as the Pacers have plenty of depth at the small forward position. Poythress, Stone and Zeisloft will likely be waived late in the preseason, along with Robinson or Evans. Poythress and Zeisloft will end up starting the season in the D-League with the Pacers' affiliate, the Fort Wayne Mad Ants.

2016-17 Salary Cap Outlook: The Pacers should begin the regular season about $4.19 million under the salary cap and $21.4 million below the luxury tax line, if they don't make a trade in the preseason.
