FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- In an interview with ESPN prior to WrestleMania 33 in Orlando on Sunday night, New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski said: "I'm feeling great. I'm good to go. It's been about four months now. I'll be ready to roll when [the] offseason program starts."

That's the type of update Patriots fans want to hear, and as it turned out, Gronkowski tested out his previously injured back in the ring Sunday night.

As part of the WrestleMania 33 show, Gronkowski reacted to having a drink thrown at him by Jinder Mahal, who was part of a battle royal match with Gronkowski's good friend Mojo Rawley.

Gronkowski had been in the front row when Mahal doused him, which ultimately led to him to enter the ring, get into a three-point stance and then charge into Mahal with force. Gronkowski stomped him with his foot after Mahal landed with a thud.

In his pre-event interview with ESPN's Jonathan Coachman, Gronkowski -- who wore a hat with the words "Mojo" on it and later donned a T-shirt that read "stay hyped" -- foreshadowed he might be part of the action.

"Maybe someone makes me mad enough tonight," he said.
