2016 New York Giants undrafted free agents

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- The New York Giants signed 14 undrafted free agents after last weekend's draft. Here's a closer look at each player:

Andrew Adams, S, Connecticut: Team captain who led the Huskies with 103 tackles last year and forced 12 turnovers during his college career.

Marshaun Coprich, RB, Illinois State: Rushed for 1,967 yards on 321 carries as a senior after nearly being suspended for the season for a drug offense.

Donte Deayon, CB, Boise State: College teammate of Giants third-round pick Darian Thompson, Deayon is 5-foot-9 and 155 pounds but has a nose for the ball. He had 17 interceptions in 39 college games.

Mylel Esiobu, WB, Lakeland: 6-foot-2 Nigerian-born wideout who caught seven touchdown passes in 2015 for tiny Lakeland College.

Michael Hunter, CB, Oklahoma State: After transferring from Indiana, Hunter had two interceptions last year for the Cowboys. Ran a 4.40 in the 40-yard dash at his pro day.

Cedrick Lang, TE, UTEP: A 6-foot-9 basketball player trying to make the transition to football, Lang caught the Giants' eye early in this year's draft process and they worked him out privately in Texas. He's obviously a project.

Melvin Lewis, DT, Kentucky: Junior college transfer had 20 tackles in six games before losing the rest of his senior season to a broken leg.

Roger Lewis, WR, Bowling Green: Once a top prospect, Lewis was productive at Bowling Green but comes with off-field baggage that likely caused teams to pass over him in the later rounds of the draft.

Ryan Malleck, TE, Virginia Tech: New Jersey native and childhood Giants fan, Malleck is 6-foot-4, 247 pounds and will have to show something as a blocker to catch coaches' attention.

KJ Maye, WR, Minnesota: Undersized (5-foot-8) wideout caught 73 passes for 773 yards and five touchdowns for the Gophers last year. Could help in the return game.

Greg Milhouse, DT, Campbell: Disruptive interior pass-rusher who had five sacks in 11 games last year. Transferred to Campbell from Appalachian State.

Romeo Okwara, DE, Notre Dame: Still only 20 years old even though he played through his senior year at Notre Dame. Led the Irish with nine sacks in 2015.

Darius Powe, WR, California: At 6-foot-3, 220 pounds, Powe will be one of the bigger receivers in the building this offseason. He caught 47 passes for 560 yards and eight touchdowns from No. 1 overall pick Jared Goff in 2015.

Mike Rose, DE, North Carolina State: Had 10.5 sacks in 13 games for the Wolfpack in 2015 after collecting five the year before.

Josh Woodrum, QB, Liberty: He's 6-foot-3 and 231 pounds, so he'll look the part if nothing else. Threw for 10,266 yards with 61 touchdowns and 30 interceptions as a four-year starter.
