NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Ruston Webster's failure in the second- and third-round are a big negative on his resume and one reason his job security is a question. Ozzie Newsome's Ravens are having an awful year, but they are largely looked at as one of the best drafting teams in the NFL.

So I collected each team's picks in the second and third rounds from the last four years to compare their performances.

The Titans have three skill position players in their group. This year they produced 54 catches for 752 yards and five touchdown catches as well as 41 rushes for 166 yards and a touchdown.

The Ravens have one skill position player in their group. This year he's produced 19 catches for 168 yards and a touchdown.

Defensive statistics

The Titans group includes four defensive players. This year they've produced 152 tackles, 0.5 sacks, two interceptions and no forced fumbles.

The Ravens group includes five defensive players. They year they've produced 85 tackles, five sacks, no interceptions and a forced fumble.

Pro Football Focus

PFF gives the Ravens group five positive grades and two negative grades with a total of positive-50.8. Williams counts for 28 of those points, Osemele for 16.6.

PFF gives the Titans group three positive grades and five negative grades with a total of negative-13.6. Poutasi counts for negative-12.1 of those points.

Matt Williamson

I sent the two groups to ESPN.com's resident scout Matt Williamson, knowing he could easily figure out which group was what. But I didn't share what I was doing and simply asked which group he'd take.

“Give me Group A!” he said, pointing to the Ravens' group. “Far superior, especially in the trenches.”

I then followed up asking how many of those Ravens group would start for the Titans.

“Brandon Williams and Osemele for sure,” he said. “TEN would kill for guys like Maxx Williams, Davis and Jernigan, but I can't promise they are upgrades over the current Titans' starters at those spots.”

"The Ravens would want DGB for sure. I am sure they would like Jones, too, but I am not sure he starts, much like I said about the BAL young defensive linemen with the Titans. But you can never have too many quality talented defensive linemen."
