Punjab Stallions extended their domination in the Pentangular One Day Cup, winning their fourth and final league game against Sind Dolphins at the National Stadium in Karachi. The new-ball pairing of Mohammad Talha and Sarfraz Ahmed did the damage after Punjab chose to field, and captain Shoaib Malik once again chipped in with both runs and wickets to guide his team to a comfortable seven-wicket win.

Sind collapsed to 42 for 6 once Talha and Sarfraz struck, and it was only thanks to Fawad Alam (21) and Anwar Ali (35) that the team went past the 100-mark. Extras, too, came in handy, with 15 wides and five leg-byes. Sind were eventually dismissed for 127 in 34.1 overs. Malik took two in his two-over spell.

Punjab's chase was guided by Azhar Ali's unbeaten 51, which came off 85 balls. Salman Butt made 27 before left-arm spinner Azam Hussain struck two quick blows. In came Shoaib Malik, and he scored a run-a-ball 26, with three fours and a six, to seal the deal in 26.5 overs.

The match between Federal Areas Leopards and North West Frontier Province Panthers on Monday will decide the opponents for Punjab in Wednesday's final.
