Zimbabwe's sixth straight loss to New Zealand

11 Zimbabwe's Test losses against New Zealand - the most for the side against any team. The second Test was Zimbabwe's sixth consecutive loss to New Zealand - their longest losing sequence against any team.

254 New Zealand's margin of victory in this Test - their biggest win in terms of runs. Their previous best was in 2002 against West Indies in Barbados. This is also the second-biggest loss for Zimbabwe in terms of runs.

New Zealand's spinners took as many as 17 Australia wickets in the Auckland Test in 2000, the highest for the side. They took 13 wickets in the Jamaica Test in 2014. Overall, there are only seven other instances when New Zealand's spinners have taken 13 or more wickets in any Test.

Rahul Dravid had accumulated 638 runs in his first four matches against them at an average of 159.50, exactly half of what Taylor presently averages against Zimbabwe - 319.00.
