Ballistix Masters announces R150 000 prize pool for tournament

esports

The Ballistix Masters, formally known as the Crucial Cup, has announced their total prize pool and prize breakdown for the next tournament.

With registration opening up on 1 December, it is expected that the tournament will be one of Ballistix's biggest of the year.

The "initiative was started by Crucial and Ballistix as a once off tournament hosted online twice a year. The cup started in 2015 and has now evolved into a full blown league!" the company said in a press statement.

Things are being changed around going forward however, as the CSGO prize pool has been reduced, while the Battlefield 4 and DotA prize pools have been increased.

If your team manages to win one of the competitions, there is a chance that you could progress to the yet-to-be-confirmed LAN championships.

"Battlefield and Dota has a potential LAN Championship in the pipeline which will be announced and confirmed early next year.

The top 10 teams per title will be invited to the LAN championships. We will confirm the details for the LAN as soon as possible!"
