Man City to move a step closer to Premier League title?

In the Manchester derby we correctly called City to win without conceding at 13/8 and Bernardo Silva to score first at a whopping 10/1 on Wednesday night. And the title race you just cannot take your eyes off continues apace this weekend with City and Liverpool both involved in must win games once again.

The Banker

The bookmakers are seemingly convinced Manchester City will retain the Premier League title following that crucial win at Old Trafford, with Pep Guardiola's men now as short as 2/9 in the betting with three games to go. City head to Burnley on Sunday, and if you fancy a shock the Clarets can be backed at 14/1 to win at Turf Moor. However, when you consider neither of the top two have dropped a single point since the start of March the smart money is surely on another routine City win.

Guardiola's men have now won 11 Premier League games on the spin and during that sequence they've scored 26 goals and conceded just three. With this in mind taking the 11/10 bet365 are offering about a City win and under 3.5 goals on Sunday looks the way to go.

Selection: £5 on Manchester City to win & under 3.5 goals at 11/10 with bet365.

The First Goal Flutter

Liverpool will try and keep the pressure on by beating Huddersfield Town on Friday evening. This one pits a team with the second-best home record in the Premier League against a team with the second-worst away record. The home win looks nailed on but is priced up at an almost unbackable 1/13. A much more attractive price is the 4/1 on Roberto Firmino to score first. The Brazilian has produced much of his best work at Anfield this season and he has the skill and guile to open up this Huddersfield defence.

Selection: £2 on Firmino to score first at 4/1 with bet365.

The Tasty Treble

Wolves were left shell-shocked by Watford in that memorable FA Cup semifinal earlier this month but can gain a modicum of revenge by beating them at Vicarage Road this weekend. They blitzed Arsenal 3-1 in midweek and if they apply themselves in the same manner against the Hornets then 19/10 about the away win looks big. Elsewhere, both teams to score looks a stick on at 1/2 when Leicester City face Arsenal on Sunday. The Gunners will be desperate for three points in their battle for a top four finish but defensively look made of glass away from the Emirates. Finally, add in Tottenham (2/5) to beat West Ham for a treble paying just over 5/1.

Selection: £3 on the treble at 5.08/1 with bet365.

The Euro Wager

Just like in England, the Bundesliga title race could be going down to the wire and Borussia Dortmund can keep pace with Bayern Munich by beating Schalke in the Ruhr derby this weekend. Jadon Sancho has scored three goals in his last two matches and looks a tempting punt at 11/2 to score first for Dortmund.

Selection: £2 on Sancho to score first at 11/2 with bet365.

The Wildcard Tip

If Manchester United are going to finish in the top four they are simply going to have to beat Chelsea on Sunday. The bookies can't split them with both teams chalked up at 13/8 for the win. However, home advantage could prove decisive for the Red Devils. Former skipper Roy Keane did not mince his words when analysing Wednesday's crushing derby loss but Chelsea too have been hugely erratic this season, especially away from Stamford Bridge, and the pick here is for United to edge a close one.

Selection: £2 on Manchester United to win 2-1 at 10/1 with bet365.
