Zlatan Ibrahimovic on his 2012 Sweden wonder-goal: I give England a gift for life

Zlatan Ibrahimovic says he has a clear favourite among the nearly 500 goals in his career -- his spectacular overhead volley from distance against England in 2012.

The striker scored four goals in the game, including three in the final 12 minutes, to help Sweden win the friendly, but it will be the last strike that will be remembered long after his career is over.

Ibrahimovic got under a poor headed clearance from Joe Hart, and without letting the ball hit the ground, flicked the ball over his head with a flying kick, and it found the net from 35 yards out.

And as he approaches 500 career goals for club and country, Ibrahimovic was asked after LA Galaxy training if he had one that stood out. He picked the England goal -- not only for its sheer audacity, but also because of the opponent.

"I scored some goals that people will remember, but the one that they will remember forever is the one against England, because of the relationship with the English," Ibrahimovic said.

"In the beginning they were saying, they were talking. I give them a gift for life."
