TOP STORY: Reds' Keita move to start spending spreeLiverpool's reported club-record move to sign RB Leipzig midfielder Naby Keita next summer could be the start of "the most expensive recruitment drive in their history," according to the Mail. Liverpool announced on Tuesday morning that a deal for Keita had been struck, and the Mail says that is highly unlikely to be the last of their dealings before the deadline. Monaco forward Thomas Lemar is firmly in their sights, with reports suggesting a £55.5m offer for the France international, a long-standing target for Arsenal, has been submitted. The protracted saga of whether or not Southampton defender Virgil van Dijk moves to Anfield could yet end with him doing so, while Arsenal's Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain also remains on Liverpool's list despite reports that Chelsea have agreed to a fee for him. ESPN FC has learned that Arsenal have rejected a £50m bid from Manchester City for unsettled Chile international forward Alexis Sanchez. This transfer window stuff is wild. Full story is here. 22.15 BST: Think we have a DONE DEAL in the Championship as Leeds United are set to unveil Hamburg striker Pierre-Michel Lasogga on a season-long loan. Lasogga, 25, isn't coming off a superb 2016-17 season in the Bundesliga -- he scored just once in 20 appearances -- but at least they have a replacement for Chris Wood, who is now scoring goals in the Premier League for Burnley. 22.07 BST: Trouble in Preston? The club has rejected a transfer request by leading striker Jordan Hugill according to their official website. Despite Hugill's efforts, it seems like the club were resolved to keep him after what manager Alex Neil said to the BBC Radio Lancashire following last weekend's draw at Middlesbrough. "We are not in the market to sell our best players," said Neil. "I am not going to break this team up: we want to have a right go this season and see where it takes us." Hugill has scored 23 goals for PNE since joining in 2014. 21.56 BST: Another DONE DEAL but this time, in the Championship... Sone Aluko, 28, is a versatile forward who can play as a main striker or winger in a front three. Though he didn't have a strong start to the season for Fulham, he should be able to do a decent job, having notched eight goals and 10 assists in the Championship last season. 21.37 BST: Here's a big DONE DEAL that could begin another chain reaction of other moves as AS Monaco have announced the signing of Keita Balde Diao from Lazio. The 22-year-old Senegal winger should slot in seamlessly for the club from the principality as their summer business continues at lightning speed. Lazio reportedly rejected offers from Juventus earlier in the summer and were holding out for a fee in excess of €30m for the talented forward. The fee is as yet unknown. Full story here. A DONE DEAL involving Barcelona as Mundo Deportivo report they've agreed to loan new full-back Marlon to OGC Nice for two years, though the Spanish giants retain the right to call him back after the first season. Story here. 20.58 BST: Hey, a DONE DEAL in the Championship! Hull City have signed Wolves striker Nouha Dicko, 25, to a three-year deal. Read more here. 20.33 BST: Another potential deal in Italy? Sky Sport Italia report that Schalke and Germany defender Benedikt Howedes is joining Juventus. They believe it will be a loan (with €3.5m fee) that has an option to buy for €8.5m next summer attached to the deal. Sky Sport Deutschland reckon the option is worth €11.5m, not €8.5m, but that the broader deal is agreed and the medical is scheduled as early as Wednesday morning. Good business for Juve? 20.07 BST: Inter Milan would love to secure the signing of Shkodran Mustafi from Arsenal this summer and according to Sky Sport Italia, the Nerazzurri have launched an improved bid in North London's general direction. They're now offering €5 million for a season-long loan of the Germany international defender with an option to buy in the region of €25m next summer that could now become a mandatory purchase. It remains to be seen why Arsenal, who sorely need experienced defenders, are so willing to let the 25-year-old (who cost €40m last year) leave so cheaply. Oh well. 19.54 BST: You want more DONE DEAL news? Here you go: Crewe have signed Wigan defender Sam Stubbs (son of Bolton and Everton stalwart Alan) to a six-month loan through January. Don't say we never deliver. 19.27 BST: A bit of news from Bournemouth, as the club have confirmed a new four-year contract for striker Josh King. King, 25, will remain with the Cherries until 2021, which is just reward for the club's top scorer last season, with 16 goals. Said the official club blurb, dispensed via club chief executive Neill Blake, "During the last year he has become a key player here, both with his goals and performances, and was instrumental in the team finishing ninth in the Premier League in 2016-17. Joshua is the fifth player we have tied down to a new deal this summer and, combined with our four new signings, we can all be excited about the direction this club is heading in." Indeed, Mr. Blake. The rumours continue to swirl about him leaving Arsenal and reports out of Chile indicate that he's been given some time off from the national team camp this Wednesday to deal with some "personal formalities." We wonder what that means... 17.08 BST: Liverpool don't want Mamadou Sakho. Crystal Palace do. Yet the latest bid by the London club has reportedly fallen short as the Reds have rejected it. They've signed the youngest Hazard, Kylian Hazard, to their development squad. The Daily Mirror claims they will offer the Ligue 1 champions Divock Origi as well as £75 million for the France international. 16.18 BST: DONE DEAL Roma have announced the signing of forward Patrik Schick from Sampdoria -- initially on loan but with an obligation to make the transfer permanent upon the completion of certain sporting objectives. Oh, and they announced it with a rather peculiar video... 15.59 BST: With Arsenal looking like they could make some cash from selling Alexis Sanchez and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, The Sun says that they will turn to Paris Saint-Germain's Julian Draxler to help fill the attacking void. Draxler is free to leave PSG following the arrival of Neymar and with Kylian Mbappe's signing seemingly imminent. 15.35 BST: Could Mamadou Sakho be the man to shore up Crystal Palace's leaky defence again? Well, France Football claims Palace have offered Liverpool €28 million for the defender, who enjoyed a successful loan spell at Selhurst Park last season, though they face competition from Leicester. 15.30 BST: With Danny Drinkwater possibly on his way to Chelsea, Leicester are, according to the Leicester Mercury, looking to bring in Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Grzegorz Krychowiak as a potential replacement. 15.17 BST: Monaco have beaten off competition from Tottenham and Juventus to sign Keita Balde after reaching an agreement with Lazio to secure the forward's services for £27.9 million, according to Sky Sports. 14.57 BST: Everton's chances of signing Hajduk Split midfielder Nikola Vlasic received a boost after the teenager was given permission to leave national team duty with Croatia's under-21 side. Everton boss Ronald Koeman has previously said the club are looking to bring in a new striker before the transfer window closes on Thursday and Llorente has now become a target. Aquilani, 33, has joined the La Liga club on a two-year deal and will fill the void left by the recent departure of Kevin-Prince Boateng. Full story. 13.17 BST: Pepe Reina's agent has confirmed that the Napoli goalkeeper has turned down the chance to join Paris Saint-Germain and will be staying at the Serie A club, where his father says he feels at home. Full story. 13.09 BST: The agent of AC Milan defender Gustavo Gomez says a move to Fenerbahce has fallen through after the Turkish club changed the conditions of the transfer. "The change in the economic conditions has changed our desire," he said. "Now, Gustavo Gomez is and will remain a Milan player." Full story. 12.55 BST: Kylian Mbappe, according to TF1, has passed his medical ahead of his loan move from Monaco to Paris Saint-Germain. The teenager, who will join PSG permanently next summer, reportedly had his medical at Clairefontaine, where he is based with the France squad. 12.40 BST: Sticking with Arsenal, Sky Sports is also reporting that Watford have pulled out of a deal to sign Gunners left-back Kieran Gibbs after failing to agree personal terms with him. It looks like being a very busy final few days of the transfer window for Arsene Wenger... 12.27 BST: Another update on the Alexis Sanchez situation, with sources telling ESPN FC that Manchester City want a cash-only deal for the forward and say they have not offered Raheem Sterling to the Gunners. City insist Arsenal are pushing for Sterling to be included as part of the deal and that they do not want the player to leave the club. "We needed another midfielder to reinforce the team, so it's a very good thing he joins us," Bakayoko said. City had an £18m offer rejected earlier this summer, with West Brom said to be holding out for £30m. 09.12 BST: An interesting one coming up next, with the Daily Mirror reporting that Manchester City will offer Arsenal a player-plus-cash deal for Alexis Sanchez, with that player apparently a certain Raheem Sterling. Arsene Wenger has so far insisted that Arsenal will not sell Sanchez, but could this offer be enough to change his mind? 09.01 BST: Sampdoria striker Patrik Schick is set to become Roma's record signing after arriving in the Italian capital for a medical ahead of a reported €40 million move to the club. Full story. 08.53 BST: Going back to Liverpool, Sky Sports is reporting that they have failed with a second bid for Monaco's Thomas Lemar. After previously seeing a £55.5 million bid knocked back, their new offer of £64.8m was also rejected by the French champions. 08.33 BST: Liverpool may be after Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain but they face competition from Chelsea, who, according to the Daily Express, are closing in on a £75 million double deal to sign the Arsenal man as well as Leicester's Danny Drinkwater, with £35m going on Oxlade-Chamberlain and £40m on Drinkwater. 08.15 BST: Naby Keita has had his say on next summer's move from RB Leipzig to Liverpool... "I am delighted that an agreement has been reached which will allow me to join Liverpool Football Club next summer, when I will become part of a project that excites me greatly," he said. "My commitment to RB Leipzig remains absolute for the remainder of my time at the club. We kick off with a big DONE DEAL -- Liverpool have completed the signing of RB Leipzig's Naby Keita, who will join the Premier League club on July 1, 2018. Full story. Sanches to swan into Premier League?Chelsea, Liverpool, AC Milan ... Swansea. It's a list that trips off the tongue, and the Mirror reports that the Swans are on it because they are interested in signing Renato Sanches from Bayern Munich on loan. Swansea are keen to bring in midfield reinforcements following the sale of creative force Gylfi Sigurdsson to Everton, and Sanches -- whose career has stalled since he moved to the Bundesliga a year ago -- has become a target for manager Paul Clement. A mooted loan switch to Manchester United for the Portugal international came to nothing, and although reports earlier this weekend said Liverpool led the race to sign him, the Mirror writes that he has yet to "sort out" his future. Meanwhile, Swansea remain eager to agree a deal with Manchester City for striker Wilfried Bony return to his former club. Everton set to swoop for Split star VladicRonald Koeman has repeatedly said Everton's summer business isn't over yet -- and, right on cue, the Guardian reports that they are on the verge of a €10m deal for Hajduk Split winger Nikola Vlasic. Vlasic, 19, played against the Merseysiders in the Europa League playoffs and has scored 10 goals in 85 appearances for Split, also being called up by Croatia's under-21s. The Guardian says there is likely to be even more Everton business to come, with Chelsea striker Diego Costa remaining a possible arrival and another defender also targeted. Uncertainty continues to surround the future of England international midfielder Ross Barkley, with Chelsea and Tottenham in contention for his signature, while Kevin Mirallas could go back to his old club Olympiakos. Tap-ins- To the Midlands, where West Bromwich Albion are set to pay £10.6m for Fenerbahce's Josef de Souza, the Express and Star reports. Brazil international De Souza is primarily a central midfielder but can also operate at right-back, with Baggies boss Tony Pulis keen to bring in more versatility and experience in order to enable younger players to be loaned out. - Championship Wolves, who have been busy in the window, are about to lose striker Nouha Dicko to Hull City and will accelerate their search for a replacement ahead of the deadline. The Birmingham Mail says Hull will pay about £3.5m for former Wigan player Dicko after having an initial £3m bid rejected. - Lazio midfielder Ravel Morrison was spotted by ESPN FC leaving a Guadalajara restaurant with his agent and directors of Liga MX club Atlas on Monday afternoon. A deal is not yet complete, but one source says it could be done by the end of the day. Morrison, 24, is set to move to Mexico on a six-month loan with an option for a further six months, with the Serie A club paying half his wages.
