Nigeria arrived in Russia on Monday night, resplendent in green and white ensembles complete with hats and shoes, to win the another fashion contest at the World Cup after their jerseys proved a hit. The Nigeria travel outfit, made by a local designer, not only taps into the country's traditional culture but also gives a nod to the team's football identity, with embroidered Eagle wings and a football on the chest and collar. But head coach Gernot Rohr insists that his team are more than just fashionable trendsetters, and are focused on getting ready for their first game against Croatia on June 16.
