Neymar makes Paris Saint-Germain debut in match against Guingamp

Neymar will make his debut for Paris Saint-Germain in Sunday's Ligue 1 game at Guingamp.

Neymar, who sensationally moved to PSG from Barcelona for a world record fee of €222 million last week, had his paperwork received by the French Football Federation on Friday, which made him eligible for selection by PSG coach Unai Emery in the club's second league game of the season.

And Emery obliged by naming the Champions League, Club World Cup, Copa Libertadores and La Liga champion to his starting XI for the match.

Joining Neymar up front will be fellow South Americans Edinson Cavani and Angel Di Maria, while the back line consists of three Brazilians -- Dani Alves, Marquinhos and captain Thiago Silva.

Julian Draxler was deemed not fit enough to make the squad, while Serge Aurier, Lucas Moura, Hatem Ben Arfa, Grzegorz Krychowiak and Jese Rodriguez also remained out of the list of players eligible to play Sunday amid uncertainty over their PSG futures.

Emery said on Friday that Lucas is injured and Jese absent for personal reasons, but no explanations were given for Aurier, Ben Arfa and Krychowiak, who are free to find new clubs.

PSG XI vs. Guingamp: Areola; Alves, Marquinhos, Silva, Kurzawa; Motta, Verratti, Rabiot; Di Maria, Cavani, Neymar
