Dynamo Kiev qualified from Europa League Group J thanks to a 2-0 victory over Rio Ave on Thursday.Jeremain Lens opened the scoring in the 53rd minute for the Ukrainian side before Miguel Veloso's header with just over 10 minutes remaining ensured Dynamo would not relinquish top spot.The win put Serhiy Rebrov's side clear on 12 points after their win over already-eliminated Rio Ave.AaB defeated Steaua Bucharest 1-0 in the other group game to go second with nine points, ahead of the Romanians who have seven with one more game to play.Dynamo dominated possession but the game started in a very open fashion, with shots flashing wide at both ends.Rio Ave goalkeeper Ederson Moraes was the busiest of the two keepers, and made early saves to deny a low strike from Younes Belhanda and Domagoj Vida.Dynamo keeper Olexandr Shovkovskiy was not a bystander, though, as he tipped Ahmed Koka's curling strike from 18 yards round the post in the 13th minute and saved Emmanuel Boateng's header shortly after.Ederson made a fantastic stop with his legs to deny Artem Kravets' strike from inside the box in the 20th minute and kept the striker at bay again shortly afterwards with a top class save from a close range volley.Chances continued through the half but the teams went into the break deadlocked at 0-0.Lens finally made the breakthrough early in the second half when he ripped apart the Rio Ave defence to send a curling strike into the net, with help from a slight deflection from Roderick.Dynamo claimed an unassailable 2-0 lead in the 78th minute when Andriy Yarmolenko delivered a great cross into the penalty area, where substitute Veloso headed past Ederson from close range.ends
