Dinamo Moscow 3-1 Anderlecht

Dinamo Moscow came from behind to beat Anderlecht 3-1 and head into the last 16 of the Europa League.

Aleksandar Mitrovic had put the Belgians in front after 28 minutes but a fine strike from Aleksei Kozlov levelled it two minutes into the second half before Artur Yusupov tidied up from Aleksandr Kokorin's penalty miss in the 64th minute.

Kevin Kuranyi then wrapped it up with a strike in the fifth minute of time added on.

A goalless draw in Anderlecht last week had left both sides with everything to play for but it was against the run of play that the visitors took the lead.

Until then Dinamo had pushed forward regularly, with Silvio Proto saving from Yusupov and Balazs Dzsudzsak in the first 10 minutes before William Vainqueur blazed over.

Anderlecht's only effort on goal up to that point had been a Steven Defour effort which sailed wide, but they snatched the lead when Ibrahima Conte teed up Mitrovic to slot home from 12 yards.

The goal seemed to knock Dinamo completely off their stride, and they did not come close to an equaliser until first-half stoppage time, when Chris Samba powered a header narrowly wide from Mathieu Valbuena's free-kick.

But they started the second half strongly, and after Valbuena had already fired wide, Kozlov brought them level in the 47th minute with an excellent strike, powering a low shot into the net from 25 yards.

Samba got another header away but was denied by Proto, who then had another save to make to keep out Kokorin's shot on the hour mark.

Two minutes later, Dinamo got their chance to turn the tables as Fabrice N'Sakala fouled Kokorin in the area, and although Kokorin's penalty struck the upright, Yusupov was on hand to fire home the rebound.

Valbuena had a great chance to kill it off with a third soon after but fired wide, while Proto again blocked a Samba header.

Anderlecht did little to threaten an equaliser, with Vladimir Gabulov comfortably holding N'Sakala's shot 10 minutes from time before Anthony Vanden Borre powered an ambitious effort over late on.

Instead it was Dinamo who had the final word as Kuranyi turned home Vainqueur's cross deep into stoppage time.
