Serbia snatch first Group I victory with 2-0 defeat of Armenia

Serbia claimed their first win in Euro 2016 qualifying Group I as they cruised to a 2-0 triumph over Armenia.

An own goal from Levon Hayrapetyan and a second-half strike from Adem Ljajic was enough to clinch the match, which was played behind closed doors, and put them level on points with the visitors.

After a bright start the Armenians found themselves a goal down after 22 minutes, with Filip Kostic's cross to the far post causing chaos and, with Andrija Zivkovic lurking, Hayrapetyan got the final touch before it crossed the line.

Ljajic wrapped up the win after 53 minutes, stroking home after Armenia goalkeeper Gevorg Kasparov could only parry Aleksandar Kolarov's effort in his direction.
