Edin Dzeko brace helps Bosnia-Herzegovina to victory over Cyprus

Edin Dzeko fired Bosnia-Herzegovina to a 2-0 win over Cyprus in their World Cup qualifier.

The former Manchester City forward scored twice in the final 20 minutes to secure his country a second Group H win in three matches.

In the 70th minute Dzeko collected Miralem Pjanic's pass inside the box and crashed his shot into the bottom corner.

And 10 minutes later he rose highest in the area to nod in Juventus midfielder Pjanic's cross.

Cyprus predictably defended in numbers but the visitors did have a chance to take a shock lead, only for Chelsea goalkeeper Asmir Begovic to save Demetris Christofi's effort.
