FC Dallas have advanced to the semifinals of the CONCACAF Champions League by a 5-2 aggregate final score, despite losing to Arabe Unido 2-1 in the second quarterfinal leg.

The Major League Soccer outfit led 4-0 after the first leg and was up 1-0 in the first half of the second leg thanks to an own goal from Unido's Leslie Hernandez.

But with the tie effectively over, the hosts put up a late fight with Roberto Chen and Hernandez scoring in the 90th and 93rd minutes, respectively, to salvage some pride for the Panamanian club.

Dallas will be happy to have its season off to a winning start in the CCL as Oscar Pareja's club prepare to start the 2017 MLS season against the LA Galaxy on Saturday, March 4.
