Bayern Munich loan Timothy Tillman to Nurnberg, sign Alex Timossi Andersson

Bayern Munich youngster Timothy Tillman will spend the season on loan at Bundesliga rivals Nurnberg, the club have announced.

Tilmann, 19, made 31 appearances for Bayern's reserve team in the Regionalliga last season, scoring six goals and providing seven assists.

After playing for Germany's youth international teams since the under-15 level, he moved to Bayern from Greuther Furth for €500,000 in 2015.

Furth president Helmut Hack said when he left for Bayern: "Timothy Tillman is the biggest talent we have had for 30 years. His departure is a catastrophe for our club."

U.S. under-20 coach Tab Ramos revealed earlier this year that Tillman will switch to the United States ahead of the 2019 Under-20 World Cup.

Tillman last played for Germany's U19 team in European Championship qualifiers in October, but rather than rejoin them in March he was called up by the U.S. U20s instead, according to Ramos.

Meanwhile, 17-year-old Sweden youth international Alex Timossi Andersson has signed for Bayern Munich a year ahead of schedule, sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic announced on Monday.

Andersson was set to move to Munich from Helsingborg next summer, but the Bundesliga champions said that they have brought forward his signing with the attacking midfielder joining with immediate effect.

"I'm really pleased that he is already with us as we can then be sure to develop him in the right way," Salihamidzic told a news conference on Monday. "Timossi will start off training with the under 19 side but if he performs well, like every young player, he'll get his chance with the first team."

Meawhile, Andersson told Helsingborg's website: "I am happy about my time with Helsingborg and wish to thank all the fans, players and the board who have always supported me. A new adventure now awaits me."

The Sweden U17 international has made 32 appearances and scored five goals for Helsingborg. As yet, no details of the fee nor the length of the contract have been announced by either club.
