Arsenal women plan to host 11 matches at Emirates Stadium next season, the club announced on Tuesday, making it their main home ground for the 2024-25 season. The club plans to play eight WSL games at Emirates, alongside three Women's Champions League (UWCL) fixtures if they qualify for the competition's group stage. - Stream on ESPN+: NWSL regular-season games (U.S.) If the club fails to qualify for a place in Europe, all 11 WSL games will be played in the Emirates, subject to Premier League and WSL scheduling. "The next step in our journey is to make Emirates Stadium our main home for Arsenal women," chief executive Vinai Venkatesham said. "We're looking forward to giving more supporters the chance to watch our women's team play. "This is part of a collective drive across the club to take the women's game forward and support sustainable growth of the game so it can thrive in the long term," Venkatesham added. "For almost four decades, we've been at the forefront of the women's game. We've recently seen extraordinary growth in supporters coming to Emirates Stadium for games held here, which include two complete sell-outs this season." Advancing in the UWCL would lead to all home-leg knockout matches being played at the stadium, taking the tally to 13 games at the Emirates. The six WSL matches hosted at Emirates this term saw an average crowd of 52,029, which included two sell-outs and three WSL attendance records. "Next season, Emirates Stadium becomes our main home, and we're all excited to play in front of bigger crowds every week," Arsenal boss Jonas Eidevall said. Arsenal hold the domestic attendance record for a WSL game when 60,160 fans watched Arsenal defeat Manchester United 3-1 at the Emirates in February, beating the former record also held by Arsenal for their 4-1 win over Chelsea in December that drew a crowd of 59,042. The club confirmed all remaining games, including all women's domestic cup fixtures (Women's FA Cup and League Cup), will be played at their existing stadium, Meadow Park. Arsenal signed a new 10-year deal with Borehamwood in 2017, and have an average crowd of 32,618 over the 2023-24 season so far, across both home venues, including sell-outs of every Meadow Park fixture.
