UEFA are taking disciplinary action against both Atletico Madrid and Marseille for failing to control their fans during Wednesday's Europa League final.
Marseille have been hit with five charges, including the throwing of fireworks, with Atletico facing two charges including the displaying of a racist banner.
Marseille fans vastly outnumbered their Atletico counterparts during the game at Parc Olympique Lyonnais, in which Diego Simeone's side eased to a 3-0 victory thanks to Antoine Griezmann's two well-taken strikes, and Gabi's late third.
The game began late due to many firecrackers and smoke bombs in the official Marseille end before the match, with regular incidences of noise and smoke during the 90 minutes, and a further outbreak behind Atletico goalkeeper Jan Oblak's goal in the closing stages.
This has led to OM being officially charged with breaking five different sections of the UEFA disciplinary regulations -- in the areas of crowd disturbances, acts of damages, setting off fireworks, throwing of objects and late kick-off.
Atletico have also been charged due to the setting off fireworks at the other end of the stadium, while a racist banner was also spotted by UEFA's official monitoring the crowd.
All these cases will be dealt with by UEFA's Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body on May 31.
Earlier this week, an Atletico supporter was fined €3,000 and banned from all sports facilities for 12 months by the Spanish government's anti-violence committee, for launching a balloon featuring a Nazi swastika symbol from the crowd during his team's goalless draw at home to Real Betis on April 22.
Three Marseille fans were detained by police and two security guards were taken to hospital after clashes before their team's Europa League round-of-16 game at Athletic Bilbao last March, when fireworks were also smuggled into the stadium and let off during the game.
