Four teams that have come a long way, and five other things on my mind

It's always fun to look back at the final AP poll of a season to see how teams have risen or fallen since. For example, in the last AP poll of the 2017-18 season, Florida State and Virginia Tech were ranked among the top 10, Auburn and Ohio State in the top 15, and several teams that now likely find themselves on the bubble -- NC State, Indiana, Oklahoma and Nebraska -- were in the Top 25.

Which also means we've got some teams that have improved their stock a lot.

Over the course of a season, some teams get better while some get worse, for any number of reasons. So we're going to look at four teams that arguably have improved more than any others in the past two months.

We considered Washington and Kansas State, but the jury's out on how much either team actually improved: Washington has benefited simply from entering Pac-12 play, and Kansas State got Dean Wade back. We also limited it to NCAA tournament teams, so teams such as an improved South Carolina squad did not get mentioned.
