SMITHFIELD, R.I. -- Tyler Kohl scored 27 points and Central Connecticut withstood a second-half Bryant rally to win 80-74 on Thursday night, the Blue Devils' fourth straight victory.

Kohl was 10 of 18 from the floor and a point shy of his career high while collecting seven assists and seven rebounds. Austin Nehls, who made five 3-pointers, and Mustafa Jones scored 18 points each.

Bosko Kostur, with six 3-pointers, and Ikenna Ndugba scored 22 points each for the Bulldogs (2-20, 1-8 Northeast Conference), who have lost five in a row.

CCSU had an 18-point lead with 13 1/2 minutes left when Bryant charged back, trailing by three with a minute left after a long 3-pointer by Tanner Johnson. But Deion Bute made two free throws after an offensive rebound and Kohl and Jones added two free throws each.

CCUS (12-10, 5-4) has already exceeded its NEC win total from last season of four.
