ELON, N.C. -- Tyler Scanlon scored a dozen points in the last three minutes as he and Max Mahoney finished with 18 points apiece and Boston University rallied past Elon 65-58 on Saturday, wrapping up a six-game road trip and winning in North Carolina for the first time since 1997.
Elon, trailing 28-25 at halftime, surged ahead by eight after the break but Mahoney and Javante McCoy each converted 3-point plays as the Terriers cut the lead to 46-44.
