Leufroy scores 25, Lehigh spoils Siena home opener 80-69

ALBANY, N.Y. -- Kyle Leufroy scored a career-best 25 points with four 3-pointers as Lehigh spoiled Siena's home opener 80-69 Wednesday night, winning for the 12th time in 13 games and off to its first 4-1 start in 10 seasons.

Jordan Cohen added 15 points and four assists for the Mountain Hawks, who shot 58 percent from the floor (29 of 50). Marques Wilson added 12 points and Jeameril Wilson 10.

A Wilson 3-pointer with 2:26 to go before halftime put Lehigh into the lead, 34-32, and a Sloan Seymour 3 made it 42-37 at the break.

The Saints came within a basket several times in the second half, but Lehigh had an answer each time.

Jalen Pickett led Siena with 25 points with four 3-pointers and seven assists. Evan Fisher added 13 points and seven rebounds. Siena shot 41 percent (26 of 64).
