MOREHEAD, Ky. -- Ja Morant registered a triple-double with 11 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists to lead Murray State to a 71-52 win over Morehead State on Thursday night, the Racers' eighth consecutive victory.

Morant's triple-double was his second of the season and the third of his career.

Darnell Cowart had 11 points and seven rebounds for Murray State (24-4, 15-2 Ohio Valley Conference). Tevin Brown added 11 points. KJ Williams had 10 points and nine rebounds for the visiting team.

The Eagles' 25.4 field goal percentage represented the worst mark by a Murray State opponent this season.

Murray State dominated the first half and led 40-14 at the break. The Eagles' 14 points in the first half marked a season low for the team.

A.J. Hicks had 13 points for the Eagles (11-19, 7-10). James Baker added 10 points and seven rebounds. Malek Green had nine rebounds.
