Nebraska transfer Ed Morrow told ESPN he committed to Marquette.

Morrow visited both Marquette and Iowa State, and also considered Pittsburgh and Xavier.

"I felt that they had the best situation for me and what I was looking for in a school," Morrow said. "They have a tremendous staff, I really enjoyed my conversation with coach [Steve] Wojciechowski and his staff. They did a great job of recruiting me. I'm excited about the whole thing."

Morrow, a 6-foot-7 forward, was one of the best available sit-out transfers. He averaged 9.4 points and 7.5 rebounds last season.

"Coach Wojo had something called the Ed Morrow Blueprint," Morrow said. "The No. 1 thing that sold me was their staff. There's a lot of knowledge and experience on that staff. Their situation is pretty unique. When I got to pick their brains, there was just so much stuff they said that I was looking for. Their role for me was just developing. Getting better. I see myself getting better there. I just feel more comfortable there."

Morrow, a Chicago native, was an ESPN 100 prospect coming out of high school in the 2015 class. He'll have two years of eligibility remaining after sitting out the 2017-18 season due to NCAA transfer regulations.
