Clemson adds size in 6-foot-10 UNC Asheville transfer Jonathan Baehre

CLEMSON, S.C. -- Clemson has added its second 6-foot-10 transfer this offseason in UNC Asheville forward Jonathan Baehre.

Baehre started 21 games for the Bulldogs as a sophomore, averaging 7.4 points and 4.6 rebounds a game. Baehre must sit out next season due to NCAA transfer rules. He'll have two years of eligibility left.

Baehre joins Oral Roberts graduate transfer Javan White, also 6-10, for the Tigers. Clemson did not have a player taller than 6-9 on last year's team that reached the NCAA Tournament's round of 16.

The Tigers are awaiting NBA draft decisions from last season's starting backcourt of Marcquise Reed and Shelton Mitchell. Neither player hired an agent. They have until May 30 to withdraw from the draft.
