Kennedy Meeks scored six of North Carolina's first 11 points, has only one field goal attempt since. Meeks ranked fourth nationally on offensive efficiency (Ken Pomeroy) after the opener. While he has stayed active with 11 rebounds, they've got to find a way to get him the ball.

B. Johnson made Dunk. Assisted by J. Berry II. (0:09)
T. Nelson made Three Point Jumper. Assisted by J. Segura. (0:08)

North Carolina either too enamored from its perimeter shooting vs Temple or lulled to sleep by Fairfield zone, but missed first 8 attempts from behind the arc and shot 2-13 in first half. (UNC shot 63% 14-22 FG inside the arc.) Until Carolina proves consistent from outside, it probably will see zone in every game until Marcus Paige returns. (Free throw shooting isn't helping the Heels either, where they are 6-14. Halftime lead should be bigger than 40-32.)
