The Detroit Tigers have placed outfielder Christin Stewart on the 10-day injured list with a right quad strain.
Stewart, 25, is batting .222 this season and leads the Tigers with three home runs and 13 RBIs.
The Tigers announced the move before Thursday afternoon's game against the Chicago White Sox.
Detroit recalled infielder Brandon Dixon from Triple-A Toledo in a corresponding roster move.
