Michelle Waterson to fight Karolina Kowalkiewicz on March 30

The UFC has added a strawweight matchup between Michelle Waterson and Karolina Kowalkiewicz to its UFC Fight Night event on March 30, according to UFC president Dana White.

White broke the news of the 115-pound bout to ESPN on Tuesday. The UFC Fight Night event will take place at Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia and air on ESPN.

Fighting out of JacksonWink MMA in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Waterson (16-6) is riding a two-fight win streak. She defeated Felice Herrig via unanimous decision at UFC 229 in her most recent performance.

The 33-year-old is 4-2 overall in the UFC. Her two losses came against current champion Rose Namajunas and Tecia Torres.

Kowalkiewicz (12-3), of Poland, is coming off a first-round knockout loss to title challenger Jessica Andrade in September. The loss snapped a two-fight winning streak for Kowalkiewicz.

Additionally, the UFC is adding a second strawweight bout between Alexa Grasso (10-2) and Marina Rodriguez (10-0) to the March 30 event, per White.
