The Brooklyn Nets have agreed to trade forward Thaddeus Young to the Indiana Pacers for the No. 20 overall pick in Thursday's NBA draft and a future protected second-round pick, sources confirmed to ESPN. The deal was first reported by The Vertical. The Pacers used the No. 20 pick on Michigan shooting guard Caris LeVert. There are believed to be no other players in the trade, which has yet to be made official, as the Nets will be clearing additional cap space. Young, who just turned 28, averaged 15.1 points and 9.0 rebounds last season. He will make $14.1 million in 2016-17, $14.7 million in 2017-18 and has a $13.7 million player option for 2018-19, according to The Vertical. Pacers president Larry Bird has been active in retooling his roster after replacing coach Frank Vogel with Nate McMillan. On Wednesday, the Pacers acquired point guard Jeff Teague from the Atlanta Hawks in a three-team deal. Indiana, which was eliminated in the first round of the playoffs last season, already possesses a roster that includes All-Star Paul George and big man Myles Turner, who had an impressive rookie campaign in 2015-16.
