Cardiff Blues picked up a RaboDirect PRO12 win on the road on Saturday, seeing off Benetton Treviso 20-13 at the Stadio Comunale di Monigo.
The Blues closed out victory before the break, with Treviso unable to muster much of note until the closing stages.
Former Wales flanker Martyn Williams led the way with the visitors' first try, while winger Harry Robinson also crossed after coming on as an early replacement for the injured Richard Mustoe.
The Blues were missing Gavin Henson due to a knock, but showed up well to keep their play-off hopes alive.
Richie Rees broke through the middle and fed Williams, who sprinted over in the corner. Dan Parks converted as part of a 10-point haul and did the same two minutes later after Robinson pounced.
Parks was instrumental in the build-up, taking an interception before offloading to his winger - who was recently called up to the senior Wales squad for the first time. Robinson made short work of the remaining defenders to score.
Treviso rallied late in the day and scored from close range through Simon Picone before Brendan Williams gave the scoreboard a more respectable look two minutes from time.
