Leicester Tigers have signed former Bath and Wasps centre Kyle Eastmond.

Eastmond, released by Wasps earlier this summer, is a dual code international and made his England 15-man debut in 2013 following the switch from rugby league in 2011.

At Leicester, Eastmond, 29, will once again link up with England fly-half George Ford, after the pair played together at Bath.

"It's great to join a massive club like Leicester with a strong tradition. I'm very happy to be a Tiger," Eastmond told the club's official website.

After playing scrum-half and fullback in his rugby league days, Eastmond is a versatile option for Leciester head coach Matt O'Connor.

"We have some very skillful and exciting players in our backline and Kyle will add to that quality," O'Connor said.

"He has an impressive skillset and we're delighted we've been able to bring him into the squad here ahead of the new season."

Leicester open their 2018-19 Premiership campaign on Sept. 1, when they face Exeter Chiefs at Sandy Park.
