Solskjaer's United to beat Arsenal and remain perfect, no Kane no problem for Tottenham

Our confidence in Cristiano Ronaldo was sadly misplaced with the Juventus star failing to find the net against Chievo last time out. The FA Cup again takes centre stage in England this weekend with the tie of the round unquestionably Arsenal's Friday evening clash with Manchester United.

The Banker

Arsenal have won the FA Cup in three of the last five seasons but face a tough assignment against in-form United, who are aiming to make it eight consecutive wins under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. United have a decent record at the Emirates too and will again be looking to Marcus Rashford and the enigmatic Paul Pogba for goals. Manchester United and Arsenal are two of the most successful FA Cup teams in history and have met 15 times before in football's oldest cup competition. But all things considered it could be worth backing an away win on Friday evening. Arsenal are going to miss Hector Bellerin (who is out for the season) and they may struggle to cope with the pace and power of Manchester United going forward. The visitors, who won 3-1 on their last visit to the Emirates, are a 17/10 chance with bet365 to make it eight wins on the spin.

Selection: £5 on Manchester United to win at 17/10 with bet365

The First Goal Flutter

Andy Carroll was on target in the third round for West Ham and the big target man could be worth a punt at 4/1 to score first when the Hammers face AFC Wimbledon on Saturday evening. Carroll has been linked with an unlikely move to Tottenham in recent days but if he starts, the 30-year-old has the physical presence to give the Dons nightmares.

Selection: £2 on Carroll to score first at 4/1 with bet365

The Tasty Treble

A good FA Cup run in pretty low on Newcastle's list of priorities this season so Watford could be a bet at 11/8 to win on Tyneside. It took a youthful Toon side two attempts to get past Blackburn in round three and Watford, flying high in seventh in the Premier League, have enough strength in depth to continue on the road to Wembley. Wolves (1/2) are also going well in the Premier League and are worthy favourites to beat a Shrewsbury Town side who have struggled in League One this season and continue to ship goals. Add Brighton (19/20) to beat West Brom at the Amex for an FA Cup treble paying just shy of 6/1 with bet365.

Selection: £3 on the treble at 5.94/1 with bet365

The Euro Wager

Napoli have won their last three games and look a solid shout at 21/20 when they travel to the San Siro to face AC Milan this weekend. Both teams are chasing Champions League qualification with Napoli out to again try and close the gap on Serie A leaders Juventus. Interestingly, Napoli are unbeaten against the Rossoneri in their last eight Serie A games, winning six and drawing two. The teams met on the opening day of the season with the Partenopei snatching a 3-2 win and they can stay in touch with Juventus by claiming another three points on Saturday night.

Selection: £4 on Napoli to win at 21/20 with bet365

The Wildcard Tip

Crystal Palace only managed to scrape a 1-0 win over Grimsby in the last round of the FA Cup despite the League Two side having a man sent off in the opening minutes. Palace made nine changes that day and if they shuffle their pack so dramatically again it's hard to make a case against Tottenham beating them on Sunday. Spurs will be missing Harry Kane and Dele Alli through injury, plus the brilliant Son Heung-Min who is at the Asian Cup, but they have some able deputies and can nick a hard fought victory at Selhurst Park.

Selection: £1 on Tottenham to win 1-0 at 7/1 with bet365
