'I am NOT Zlatan!': Ibrahimovic look-a-like on life as LA Galaxy star's double

It's high time we all spare a thought for Nihad Djedovic, who is a professional basketball player for Bayern Munich and the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team.

It just so happens that poor Djedovic shares several physical traits with a certain Swedish footballer and, after years of being routinely mistaken for his doppelganger, the 28-year-old has had enough.

Speaking to Euro League, Djedovic revealed that he cannot go out in public without being stopped and asked for a photo, while droves of people continue to tag him as Zlatan Ibrahimovic on social media every single day.

"Since I'm growing my hair now, somebody tags me on Instagram or Twitter or something every day.

"This summer I was in Paris for three days. I cannot say every person... Every second person stopped me to take photos with me. It's incredible."

In mitigation, Djedovic does look an awful, awful lot like Ibrahimovic, what with being 6-foot-6 tall and built like a telegraph pole.

Let's face it, the choice of like-for-like long hair and carefully manicured goatee combo isn't exactly helping to stand him apart either.

If it's really that much of a problem, might we suggest opting for a bright green perm or something?
