Neil Warnock next in the 'I'm a Celebrity' jungle after Harry Redknapp?

Cardiff City boss Neil Warnock has divulged that he might be tempted into following fellow manager Harry Redknapp into the jungle as a future contestant on "I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!".

Redknapp is currently favourite to win the ITV2 reality game show which sees a group of celebrities forced to camp in the Australian rainforest and complete various, largely nauseating tasks to earn food and other such luxuries.

So far this series, Redknapp has eaten insects aplenty and even quaffed a "knobbly" smoothie made from a pig's penis.

Despite watching his contemporary being put through nightmarish trials week after week, Warnock has said that he could be coersed into taking part in the show, though joked he would have to be paid more that the other contestants due to his unparalleled unpopularity among the viewing public.

"I would imagine I'll be in there next year. The [Cardiff players] have put my face on Harry's body on the dressing room window!" the Bluebirds manager said. "I don't think I'd be scared. But the problem is I'd be doing every horrible thing there could be because I'd get the votes.

"It would be payback time. So they'd have to pay me 10 times more than they paid everybody else."

Suddenly, the thought of watching a 70-year-old man being forced to eat an entire plate of live Witchetty grubs seems unduly appealing.

Warnock also revealed he is pleased to see Redknapp's affable, down-to-earth demeanour has seen him become odds-on favourite to be crowned "King of the Jungle" this coming Sunday evening.

"That's Harry -- that's how we are," he added. "Football humour in the jungle is a blessing - it's something that lifts everybody. We've all got stories, haven't we? I rabble on here every week at a press conference.

"They've got a good group and I'll watch it a bit more now. The ones I didn't like, the ones which I could scream at, have gone now."
