TOP STORY: Navas to follow Ronaldo to Juventus?
With Thibaut Courtois signed to replace him, three-time Champions League winning goalkeeper Keylor Navas could choose to leave the Bernabeu in January, according to reports.
Calciomercato suggests that Navas is upset with losing his starting place and is already searching for a home in Turin. Cristiano Ronaldo famously traded the Bernabeu for the J Stadium this summer, and if reports are to be believed, Navas could be next.
The 31-year-old Costa Rica international has never seemed to receive the proper respect at Madrid and would likely be viewed as an upgrade on Wojciech Szczesny, who is under fire again after Juve's 2-1 loss to Manchester United on Wednesday. Navas has been a serial winner at Madrid, adding a La Liga crown, a Supercopa title and UEFA Super Cup title to his trophy case.
Navas is no doubt a top goalkeeper, but with Courtois now at Madrid, maybe this is the moment for the Costa Rican to take up a new challenge and reunite with Ronaldo in Turin.

22.55 GMT: Juan Mata to Arsenal?
Man United's free-kick hero on Wednesday vs. Juventus is in the final year of his contract and with no new deal offered yet, the Spaniard could be on the move.
Ex-club Valencia are the club listed most often with the diminutive midfielder but the Daily Mail is not ruling out a move within England to Arsenal. Mata's old boss at Valencia, Unai Emery, is now in charge at the Emirates and is a big fan of Mata as a player.
Having already played for Chelsea and Man United could Mata make if half of the top six by this time next year?
21.48 GMT: Here's an interesting one. Man City are scouting 14-year-old professional Fernando Ovelar.
The youngster has made news in South America by earning a starting spot in the country's first division with Cerro Porteno at just 14, and last weekend, in front of Man City's scouts, according to the Mirror, the kid phenom scored his side's goal in Paraguay's Superclasico between Cerro Porteno and Olimpia.
Ovelar is the youngest player to ever play in Paraguay's top division and the fact that he is already on Pep Guardiola's radar bodes well for his potential.
Any deal for Ovelar would likely keep the youngster in Paraguay for a few years on loan until he matures.
20.18 GMT: Sitting rock-bottom of the Premier League after 11 rounds, Fulham have identified a transfer target for January. In fact, they have identified a "Targett" to be precise, as in Matt Targett.
The Evening Standard writes that Fulham are again set to attempt to sign Targett from Southampton. The 23-year-old was a key player during Fulham's promotion campaign a year ago while on loan but Fulham's bid of £15 million this past summer was not high enough for Southampton to sell the player to Fulham permanently.
Targett was a key addition to Fulham's defence last season, as a then-struggling defense proceeded to concede only 12 goals in their final 20 games with Targett in the team.
Targett has played just 72 minutes in the Premier League this season for Southampton while Fulham have conceded a Premier League-worst 29 goals so far this campaign.
19.00 GMT: Tottenham didn't sign one player this summer and if rumours out of Italy are to be believed, Spurs' depth could be tested further with midfielder Mousa Dembele linked with a move to Serie A.
Corriere di Torino, via TalkSport claims that Juve could swoop for the Belgian midfielder, with summer signing Emre Can's health and availability a concern at present.
Dembele has been linked with moves to Italy before, namely to Milan and Inter, and would provide cover for Can who is out after surgery on a thyroid nodule.
The 31-year-old Dembele has made 13 appearances for Spurs this season and has started seven games in the Premier League in central midfield.
17.33 GMT: Xherdan Shaqiri only joined Liverpool this summer but Turkish giants Galatasaray are plotting a January loan move for the Switzerland international, according to Transfermarketweb.
With a logjam of attacking talent at Liverpool, Shaqiri is not a regular starter but has been given more playing time of late by Jurgen Klopp.
Shaqiri has played well in his time at Anfield and unless the player is not content about playing a supporting role, it is hard to see there being much truth to rumours about him leaving come January.
16.25 GMT: France Football claimed that Juan Mata was looking for a return to Valencia at the end of the season, but the Manchester United midfielder isn't keen to leave England just yet.
"I am very happy in England, my contract is up in the summer, and I'm in talks with Manchester United in order to see what happens," he told El Transistor.
15.05 GMT: We're positively bursting with West Ham news today as Sport Mediaset claim the Hammers have made an offer for Gabigol.
No, that's not a footwear brand, it's Gabriel Barbosa, who is on loan at Santos from Inter Milan. The 22-year-old needs to kickstart his career in Europe again after it stalled in Italy, so where better than London?
14.36 GMT: Inter defender Andrea Ranocchia doesn't look like he'll be getting a new deal at San Siro, say Tuttomercatoweb. That means Watford may be keen to seal a deal before he becomes a free agent in the summer.

11.06 GMT: Manchester United midfielder Fred could have been playing on the other side of the city, but told FourFourTwo his decision to snub a £52m move to Pep Guardiola's side last summer was down to Jose Mourinho.
"I received an offer from them [City] and even talked to my Brazilian teammates who play for our neighbours," he said. "They were trying to convince me to join them, but in the end it didn't happen. Then it was the summer and, as I said, there were other offers, including from United. I quickly decided that was the right move for me.
"Mourinho is a top, top professional and every player likes to work with such a winner. I'm learning things from him, that's for sure. He can be quite strict, but that's part of his job. 08.15 GMT: Talks between Inter Milan and Milan Skriniar over a contract extension are progressing with both sides confident an agreement will soon be reached, sources close to the Serie A club and player have told ESPN FC.
Skriniar, 23, is contracted to the Nerazzurri until 2022, but negotiations are underway over an extension to that agreement. The Slovakia defender has been a mainstay of the Inter defence since joining from Sampdoria in the summer of 2017. He did not miss a minute of their 38 Serie A games last season, in which he scored four goals, and has played nine of their 11 league fixtures so far this season.

Strugglers Fulham want Chelsea flop Bakayoko
After a brilliant promotion campaign, new-look Fulham have struggled to adapt to the step up in competition of the Premier League. The Cottagers currently sit bottom of the Premier League and it looks as if major changes could be on the way.
The latest reports from Calciomercato indicate that Shad Khan's club have enquired about a loan move for Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko, who is currently on loan at AC Milan.
Recent reports suggest that Milan are ready to move on from Bakayoko and Fulham could offer a lifeline to a player who has undergone a massive fall from grace in the last 18 months. The ex-Monaco man struggled during his time at Stamford Bridge but maybe a quieter locale in London, away from the pressure, would do the France international good.
Bakayoko was much improved in his last outing for Milan against Udinese, so maybe the clock hasn't struck midnight just yet for Bakayoko with the Rossoneri.
Arsenal to bid for Ramires
Arsenal are considering a January bid for Ramires, though not the Ramires you're probably picturing right now.
According to the Daily Star, the Gunners have sent scouts to watch the Bahia midfielder on six occasions recently and may lodge a bid for the 18-year-old Brazilian sooner rather than later in an attempt to beat Atletico Madrid to the punch.
For the record, Ramires' full name is Eric dos Santos Rodrigues and he apparently acquired his nickname due to the physical similarities he shares with the former Chelsea player of the same name.

- Leeds United remain steadfast that they will hold on to striker Kemar Roofe. The Sunday Mirror claimed earlier this week that Wolves were monitoring the in-form striker but Leeds supporters want none of it.

- Unai Emery is considering bringing a premature end to Reiss Nelson's season-long loan at Hoffenheim after the teenage forward scored his fifth goal in six games for the German side at the weekend, as reported by the Evening Standard.
The 18-year-old has come along quicker than expected in Germany and could be a valuable asset to an Arsenal side competing on four different fronts.
