PSG's Angel Di Maria and Kylian Mbappe fit for Cope de la Ligue final

BORDEAUX -- Paris Saint-Germain's Angel Di Maria and Kylian Mbappe have been passed fit to play in Saturday's Coupe de la Ligue final against Monaco at Matmut Atlantique in Bordeaux.

Both players picked up minor knocks while on international duty but have been given the green light after being examined by PSG's medical staff and have been included in coach Unai Emery's 20-man squad, a club statement reads.

The Argentina and France internationals should now both start in attack with Edinson Cavani, while Neymar is still recovering from surgery on a fractured metatarsal in his right foot in Brazil.

PSG will also miss midfielder Thiago Motta, suspended for the game and forward Hatem Ben Arfa, who has once again been left out.

The former France international confirmed via Instagram on Thursday that he will leave the club at the end of the season.

George Weah's son and recent USA international Timothy Weah has also been included in the squad, along with Thomas Meunier and Javier Pastore.

During the international break, both Meunier and Pastore made some questionable comments over the future of the club.

The Belgium international hinted that Unai Emery will leave in the summer, while the Argentine said that big changes are coming to PSG with speculation growing that Emery will be replaced by former Borussia Dortmund coach Thomas Tuchel.

However, captain Thiago Silva has played down the idea of major alternations, saying that "minimal changes" are required.
