Connecticut Huskies still No. 1

UConn remained No. 1 in The Associated Press poll after easily winning its first game of the season.

The Huskies were no longer unanimous Monday after losing a first-place vote to second-ranked Duke, which beat No. 10 California on the road in its opener. UConn has a tough week, beginning with a showdown against No. 3 Stanford on Monday night. The Huskies then will visit eighth-ranked Maryland on Friday before traveling to No. 13 Penn State on Sunday.

Fourth-ranked Tennessee faces 12th-ranked North Carolina on Monday night.

Louisville was fifth, followed by Notre Dame and Kentucky. Baylor and Cal switched places to round out the top 10.

No one fell out of the rankings this week, as No. 23 Dayton was the only Top 25 team to lose to an unranked opponent. The Flyers dropped nine spots after falling to Iowa in overtime.
