The 30th edition of the WWE Royal Rumble pay-per-view takes place Sunday, Jan. 29, at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. It's the second time that the Royal Rumble has taken place at the Alamodome; the first was in 1997.
The first WWE pay-per-view of the year features the annual Royal Rumble match, with the winner set to receive a guaranteed world championship match at WrestleMania 33 in Orlando, Florida.
