INDIANAPOLIS -- After two busy weeks at the Speedway, the 84th running of the Indianapolis 500 is finally in sight. Here's one man's glance at the field of 33:

Greg Ray
Odds: 2-1
Comment: Has the team and the motivation. Started second last year, now he's on the pole. Still can't forget the crash on pit road.

Juan Montoya
Odds: 3-1
Comment: Rookie in name only.

Eliseo Salazar
Odds: 10-1
Comment: Ace in the hole is A.J. Foyt.

Robby Gordon
Odds: 3-1
Comment: Would give anything to have the last lap and a half back from last year. Won't run out of fuel this time.

Scott Sharp
Odds: 4-1
Comment: Maybe his bad luck is over.

Jeff Ward
Odds: 4-1
Comment: Has the winning number (14) from last year. Still winless, though.

Jimmy Vasser

Comment: The "other" Target driver. Living in a shadow.
