OWINGS MILLS, Md. -- The Baltimore Ravens watched another player get injured during Sunday's joint practice with the San Francisco 49ers when backup defensive end Kapron Lewis-Moore was carted off the field. This comes an hour after cornerback Asa Jackson needed to be helped off the field. Lewis-Moore, the primary backup to Chris Canty, was injured in a pileup. Both teams took a knee around him, including 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh. It looked like trainers stabilized Lewis-Moore's left knee. He tore his right ACL in his final college gameĀ and missed his rookie season with the Ravens as a result. Lewis-Moore sobbed as he was carted off. The Ravens are now becoming thin at defensive end. The team already lost rookie fourth-round pick Brent Urban to a torn ACL on July 30.
