Wide receiver Anquan Boldin won't repeat as a Super Bowl champion, and there will be no Harbaugh holding up the Vince Lombardi Trophy either. But the Super Bowl matchup -- the Denver Broncos vs. the Seattle Seahawks -- will allow one former Baltimore Ravens player to win a ring.

Free safety Michael Huff is a reserve safety for the Broncos, and kicker Steven Hauschka is the leading scorer for the Seahawks.

Huff lasted one game as a starter for the Ravens this season before being benched for his poor play, coincidentally, in Denver. He was cut midway through the season after his lackluster effort on covering a kickoff, which jump-started the Pittsburgh Steelers' game-winning drive on Oct. 20. The Ravens paid Huff $2.35 million in 2013 when you include his signing bonus.

He is currently third on the Broncos' depth chart at free safety, behind starter Mike Adams and backup Omar Bolden. Huff made one tackle in the AFC Championship Game.

Hauschka had the formidable challenge of replacing Matt Stover after beating Graham Gano in the preseason. He struggled in 2009, making 9 of 13 kicks (69.2 percent). Hauschka hooked a potential game-winning 44-yard kick in Minnesota, and he was cut three weeks later after missing a 36-yard field goal and getting an extra point blocked in a win at Cleveland. The Ravens signed Billy Cundiff to take over for Hauschka, and you don't need a reminder on how that turned out.

It was a long journey to get to Seattle for Hauschka. After being released by the Ravens, he bounced around three NFL teams (the Atlanta Falcons, Detroit Lions and Broncos) and one United Football League team (Las Vegas Locomotives) before landing with the Seahawks. This season, he made 33 of 35 field goal attempts in the regular season (94.3 percent) and has hit all six tries in the playoffs.
