Aurelien Collin's last-gasp equalizer completed a two-goal comeback that forced the Revolution (5-2-3, 18 points) to stomach a 2-2 draw to Orlando City SC (2-4-3, 9 points) on Friday at the Citrus Bowl in Orlando, Florida.

Collin headed a Luke Boden cross off the bottom of crossbar before it crashed over the line in the 90th minute. The goal came 15 minutes after Cyle Larin powered a pass from Rafael Ramos into the back of the net to cut the Revolution lead to 2-1.

Charlie Davies opened the scoring when he corralled as pass from Scott Caldwell, ran at goal, and sent it past Donovan Ricketts to put the Revolution up in the 19th minute. The guests extended their lead in the 71st minute when Kelyn Rowe pounced on a poor touch from Ramos and slid it through inside the box.

Despite leaving points on the pitch, the Revolution extended their league-best unbeaten streak to eight (5-0-3), while the Lions put the brakes on a two-game losing streak and picked up their first home point since Week 1.

What it means: This is a game the Revolution should have grabbed maximum points from. Coming out with high pressure right from the start, the visitors were not only able to dictate the tempo, but also built a two-goal lead with 15 minutes to go. But one glaring weakness spelled their doom. Orlando City found success on its crosses all night, and it was just a matter of time before it would capitalize, especially with center back Jermaine Jones struggling on aerial duels. Larin’s goal put the Revolution on notice, but they were unable to hold tight when Boden’s cross found Collin in front of goal, where the French center back put it through to secure the draw.

Stat of the match: Friday marked the first time the Revolution failed to secure the victory after leading at halftime. The club entered its clash against Orlando City 4-0-0 when going heading into the interval on top.

Nguyen returns to the XI: Lee Nguyen, who was benched last week after sitting out training in protest of his contract, returned to the lineup Friday. With Nguyen among the starters, Kelyn Rowe found himself on the bench.

Goncalves stays home: Despite coming on as a second-half substitute last week against New York, Jose Goncalves did not make Friday's game-day roster. The Revolution center back suffered a left calf strain at Colorado on April 4, and appeared to be fully recovered after his name was not listed on this week’s injury report. With Goncalves out, Jones and Andrew Farrell were paired in the central defense for the fourth consecutive match.

Next up: The Revolution head back to Gillette Stadium to face Toronto FC for the first time in 2015 on May 16. Kickoff is 7:30 p.m. The Revolution went 3-0-0 against the Reds in 2014.
