Kyle Drabek gets outright to Triple-A Charlotte

CHICAGO -- Chicago White Sox right-hander Kyle Drabek was outrighted to Triple-A Charlotte on Wednesday, two days after he was designated for assignment.

Drabek was one of two roster moves made Monday in order for the White Sox to add relievers Carlos Rodon and Jake Petricka to the active roster. Javy Guerra was placed on the 15-day disabled list Monday with right shoulder inflammation.

With injuries and struggles mounting among the relief corps toward the end of spring training, Drabek was claimed off waivers from the Toronto Blue Jays on March 27. He posted a 5.06 ERA in three early relief appearances this season.
