Marvin Lewis: George Iloka OK after leaving practice early

CINCINNATI -- Cincinnati Bengals coach Marvin Lewis said safety George Iloka is "probably fine" after an apparent knee injury caused him to leave Sunday's practice early.

There were a few tense moments for the Bengals after Iloka went to the ground during the first segment of team drills. Iloka grabbed at his knee and crawled to the sideline before trainers helped him up and put him in a cart. He was given ice for his right knee before walking to a cooler to watch the rest of practice from there.

Iloka left practice about 30 minutes later on a cart with safety Derron Smith, who had an undisclosed injury.

Iloka is entering his fifth season as one of the team's starting safeties.

Other injuries: Michael Johnson and Wallace Gilberry did not practice for the second straight day, and both worked out on the side field instead. Gilberry had his pads on but Johnson did not. ... Defensive back Brandon Wilson, who is on the non-football injury list, also worked on the rehab field. ... Cedric Peerman (NFI) did not practice. ... Jake Kumerow, who injured his ankle while trying to make a block Friday, said it will be a few days before he can get out of the walking boot and return to practice.
