Browns suspend DB K'Waun Williams for violating team rules

The Cleveland Browns suspended defensive back K'Waun Williams for two weeks and fined him for multiple violations of team rules, the Browns announced Wednesday.

The penalties were the result of Williams refusing to play in the Browns’ preseason opener in Green Bay, according to Cleveland.com, which cited a source saying the reason Williams didn’t play was because of lingering effects from an ankle injury he suffered during a scrimmage on Aug. 6.
