Ezekiel Elliott, Jaylon Smith team with NFFC, Mexico for youth camp

FRISCO, Texas -- Ezekiel Elliott spent time in Mexico during his six-game suspension last season. This weekend he is in Queretaro, Mexico, taking part in a camp with the National Fantasy Football Convention, Estrellas del Futuro and the government of Mexico to help football grow in the country.

NFFC, Estreallas del Futuro and the Mexican government have entered into a three-year partnership and will hold another camp this summer in San Luis Potosi. Three camps are scheduled in 2019 and four in 2020.

“It’s no secret that football is a growing around the world and we’re thrilled to play a part in spreading the game to our friends south of the border,” said NFFC CEO Andy Alberth in a statement. “We take immense pride in making the yearly convention a Disneyland for football fans and can’t think of a better way to bring that same joy to kids that may not normally get the best exposure to America's new pastime.”

Elliott is joined by Cowboys teammates Jaylon Smith, Taco Charlton, Anthony Brown, Kavon Frazier and former teammate Keith Smith, now with the Oakland Raiders.

The National Fantasy Football Convention will be held July 13-15 in Dallas.
