FRISCO, Texas -- Could the Dallas Cowboys’ fans have an impact in Saturday’s NFC divisional-round game against the Rams at the Los Angeles Coliseum? “I expect Cowboys Nation to show up anywhere we go,” defensive lineman Tyrone Crawford said. “We do have a strong Cowboys presence at a lot of stadiums. I appreciate it. Everybody knows this is America’s Team. A lot of people try to call that the past, but it is what it is. It’s America’s Team. The star is definitely alive.” The Cowboys have called Oxnard, California, their training camp home for most of the past decade. The team first held training camp at Cal Lutheran in Thousand Oaks, California, under Tom Landry in 1963 and remained there through 1989. When the Cowboys have played in San Diego, San Francisco or Oakland over the years, there has been a large turnout of Cowboys fans. When the Rams returned to the Coliseum in 2016 for their first preseason game, there was a large number of Dallas fans. “Offensively, especially, hopefully the crowd is quiet and it’s not as crazy as some games obviously you go into and all 90 percent or 95 percent of the people are against you,” quarterback Dak Prescott said. “Going into this game knowing the support that we have obviously on the West Coast, having training camp out there, hopefully, yeah, there’s a good bit of Cowboy fans that respect us when we’re on offense. But, hey, if not, it‘d be part of it and we’ll be ready for that too.” L.A. coach Sean McVay said he hopes there will be a lot of Rams fans in attendance. “I do have an understanding of how well the Cowboys fans travel, but we’re hopeful to see a bunch of Rams fans show up,” McVay said. “But if the Cowboys fans show up, too, it’ll be a good atmosphere regardless.”
